Disney has officially confirmed that their GM-sponsored pavilion in EPCOT will be closing for a major update on June 17th, 2024. In addition to this, Disney has released a new piece of concept art, along with the promise of more details coming soon!

On Apr. 5, 2024, Disney reveals a new rendering of the reimagined attraction, Test Track presented by Chevrolet at EPCOT at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The attraction will close temporarily beginning June 17, 2024. More details will be shared soon. (Disney)

This brand-new art depicts new entrance signage, as well as an incredible-looking new entrance overhang matching the 1982 pavilion’s facade. This is a significant upgrade over the existing entrance canopy.

Teased at last year’s Destination D23, General Motors is funding a massive update to the pavilion they’ve sponsored in EPCOT since 1982.

  1. Epcot is never supposed to be finished – that was Walt Disney’s vision. Always expanding and growing. Love this upgrade, much over due. 🙂

  2. Bruh, why, do you have to change it for the third time. I only got to ride the ride once and now they’re changing it. That’s one of the most popular rides at Disney world. Just why.
