As part of Walt Disney World gearing up for the 50th anniversary beginning later this year, cast members will soon be receiving special name tags. Receiving a Disney Parks name tag is a very special moment in the process of becoming a Cast Member, and Disney felt it was important to create a special name tag to show that the Cast Members are part of the celebration. Over the past year, Disney executives have emphasized how the 50th anniversary is in part a ‘celebration of the cast members.’ The 50th Anniversary Cast Member name tag is the physical manifestation of this mission.
Along with a photo of the new name tags, Disney also released a promotional video presenting cast members with their name tag for this celebration 50 years in the making!
