If Disney’s reel made no impression, this reimagining of Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster is bringing the Electric Mayhem to the forefront, accompanied by much of the Muppets gang!
Disney says the Electric Mayhem are about to headline “their biggest Hollywood concert ever!”

In the pre-show, you’ll find the Electric Mayhem rocking the house in the recording studio. Notable are the Penguins, making their return from orchestral activities at the now-scrapped Muppet*Vision 3D, taking up new roles as audio engineers!

Then, it’ll be time to hop on board the Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster we know and love, now with some help from Muppet Labs! The ride cars will be receiving a Muppets-inspired paint job. The updated attraction interior will also feature scenery and landmarks of Hollywood, but now with a “Muppet twist,” according to Disney’s latest announcement.

Meanwhile, on the exterior courtyard, Disney will be mildly tweaking the existing Aerosmith facade. The above Muppets poster will dawn the facade, alongside some new psychedelic paintwork on the iconic giant electric guitar signage.
Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster Starring Aerosmith is expected to remain open the rest of 2025, with work starting on this likely-quick update to Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster Starring The Muppets in 2026!
Meanwhile, big changes are also coming to the Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Check out our article on those big changes coming to the park here!
