Today, Walt Disney Imagineering has released new renders for the upcoming update to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
Choose Your Own Destination
Starting August 22nd, 2026, guests piloting the Millennium Falcon will get to set course to one of three destinations: Bespin, the wreckage of the second Death Star, or Coruscant!
Mando and Grogu to Join the Mission
In addition to new destinations, Disney has announced an updated plot for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. In the updated attraction storyline, guests will meet up with Mando and Grogu to bounty hunt. Disney says Engineers will be able to communicate with Grogu during the mission!
While Disney has stated the attraction’s destination-jumping adventure will not reflect the storyline of the upcoming The Mandalorian and Grogu feature film, this updated plot is no doubt intended to incorporate these two popular characters into the attraction the day they make their silver screen debut! Both The Mandalorian and Grogu film and the new Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run missions will premiere on Memorial Day Weekend May 22, 2026!
